SHIPPING FOR WARM WEATHER

In order to minimize shipments languishing in heated vehicles or warehouses as a result of the impending warmer weather, we are changing our delivery schedule to Monday through Wednesday.

Our natural goods come in sensitive to temperature change packaging. Products may soften or even melt while in transit during extremely warm weather if they are left in heated mail vehicles, mailboxes, or front porches.

We have no control over the weather during transit or delivery because melting is a natural response to heat.

WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM?

Controlling the impact of ambient temperature is one of our main problems when developing natural skin care products. Sometimes, our bulkier products—which are ideal in the chilly winter—turn out to be overly soft in the summer.

Phthalates are used in many commercial products to stabilize and maintain viscosity (thickness), cocamide DEA, MEA is used to thicken, stabilize, and emulsify, petroleum-based oils and waxes are used to thicken and stabilize, and other additives are used to ensure that their products maintain the same consistency through all temperature variations. None of these or any other synthetic ingredients are included in our naturally organic goods.

WHAT TO DO ABOUT YOUR PACKAGE WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT

On warm or sunny days, it is advisable to refrigerate the items BEFORE opening them or to leave the container at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours. Items might spill out if you open them soon away and cause a mess. Give the product enough time to return to its usual temperature so that it may resume its natural state.

Our products’ quality and curative abilities are unaffected by heated temperatures.

OUR ACTIONS TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM

We try our best to shield our items from heat while in transportation during hot weather.

Before a product is packaged for delivery, we inspect it.
To allow for extra cushioning for insulation, we are employing boxes.
For a longer period of time, we use shipping ice packs to keep things chilled.
To give an additional layer of insulation, we wrap our sensitive items with bubble wrap or other cushioning.
To avoid spending too much time in trucks and warehouses, we dispatch orders from Monday through Wednesday.

If you have any inquiries or suggestions, please contact us. If you have any suggestions for how we might enhance our goods and delivery, we’d love to hear them.
